Mariam Hamidu is a Senior Associate with AB & M Legal Consult. Mariam was admitted to practice law in Ghana in 2003. In 2006, she received an LLM from the University of Pretoria.

As a lawyer, Mariam has worked in various capacities as a Legal Researcher with the United Nations International Criminal Tribunal For Rwanda (UNICTR), as an intern with the International Criminal Court, ICC, in The Hague, as an Associate at Hesse and Larsey, Legal Consultants in Ghana, as a State Attorney at the Ministry of Justice and Attorney-General’s Department, Ghana and as a Legal Consultant with the Islamic Corporation for the Insurance of Investments and Export Credit (ICIEC), the insurance arm of the Islamic Development Bank based in Jeddah. All these varied experiences have enriched her understanding and knowledge of the law and developed her capacity to handle legal issues in many areas of the law effortlessly.

Mariam has handled and advised on legal issues relating to Government Contracts, project finance, international trade transactions, banking, finance, and capital markets, investments and insurance law, family law, trusts and estates law, and criminal law.
